Gunk dripping from LED lights

We have a 2018 wildwood Xtra lite and there is very sticky gunk dripping down the side of the camper. It appears to be coming from the LED light strip that was installed underneath awning. This was already in place when purchased. No issue the first year. It is difficult to clean off and is affecting the finish on the camper. Just wanted to know if anyone else has this issue and what can be done about it.

Possibly it’s runoff from the adhesive they used.

I use Goo Gone for just about anything. Rinse well after using.

Tried that

I tried that and it would not take it off. And more gunk keeps appearing so it is dripping daily and we are not operating the camper and have not for three weeks

Do you have any pictures to get a better idea of what it might be?

I have white sticky gunk that seeps from the seams around the doors and windows on our Palomino Puma. Looks like some kind of sealant, but it never hardens. Gets worse when it gets hot. I use gasoline on a rag to get it off. It doesn't hurt the finish on our camper, but obviously check in an inconspicuous area first. What a PITA, I have to clean it off pretty much every year. I don't know how much they used in there but it seems to never end!!
