Hello, Newbee here with a request....

Hello,

I have a 2013 Forest River Shamrock SS21 Hybrid Trailer. Generator and Shore Power runs all the electrical.

However, nothing works off batteries. Batteries are new and the 30 AMP house fuse is fine?

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Gary

When on shore power or generator power, everything will work.
When not, only 12v items will work. So no a/c, no microwave, no outlets, no tv(unless it's a 12v tv), no heated mattresses.
If 12v items aren't working either, you probably tripped the 12v resettable circuit breaker that's tucked along the A-frame. It has a tiny black reset button you push.
By the way, Welcome to FRF. I used to live in Camarillo.

Thank you for the suggestion. I might be missing something but I don't see any reset button? Crawled all over under the trailer on a creeper....tried to post a photo but could not attach it?

Do you have a battery disconnect switch? Is it turned on? This is the circuit breaker you are looking for:

The battery disconnect switch is in the correct position next to the circuit breakers.

I have to say I don't see the switch you posted anywhere?

It is often close to the batteries, very small, black, and the reset button rectangular on the bottom of the switch. It will probably not be obvious and will be difficult to locate even when you know where it is hiding.

Hopefully someone with your exact TT model can help you with the specific location.

NavyLCDR, thank you for posting that photo. It is now fixed....that black button was the ticket!

Thank you also, Dan.

My best,
Gary

Just so others with the same problem know, some trailers come with a fuse instead of a circuit breaker. My daughter's 2016 trailer had a fuse.
