Help, Mirror Came Off

So I was driving the other day and noticed the passenger side mirror was shaking pretty bad. Today I wanted to see if a screw needed tightening or something. Tried to tighten it but nothing, started to take the screw out and water started coming out. Take all the screws out and all four of the screws were stripped out. I assume the backing board is rotten. Now I can't put the mirror back on. Don't know what to do. Can I try packing some wood filler in there after it dries out or what. Any help would be appreciated.

How about starting with a bit more information. Like, what it is the mirror was on. What year, model, etc. Is it rusted out? Any other damage? Can you see where a leak allowed water in?

Someone will be along with more info, once we get a better idea what we're dealing with.

Class A Motorhome 2017 Georgetown XL, not rusted but it seems as the wooden board behind the fiberglass that the screws go into is all rotten. I believe the sealant was wore out at the top of the mirror and that is how the water got in. I guess the best way to fix it is to take apart interior wall panel and replace that board?
