Help needed for sensor leak

So, I just bought my trailer, and could take it right back to the dealer, but that is a 2 hour round trip. Viking 17bh

Anyway, the only issue I am having is the fresh water tank is leaking from where the green sensor wire attached to the tank.

Is this something I could tighten up myself? There is a brass bolt that goes into some kind of gasket, it appears loose. I don't know if you can pop the gasket out and then tighten the nut, then pop it back in? Was worried the gasket wouldn't survive being pulled out.

It is a compression nut. Just tighten it up until it's snug.
