herr rv windows explode

Has anyone experienced an exploding window? I have a 2015 Georgetown and the passenger sliding window (thermo pane) exploded while in storage. Funny thing is, only half the window (outside pane) exploded, the inside pane is still intact!!??

Wow.

I had an old Ford Bronco with the back window that raised up and down, and it exploded into a million pieces driving down the road.......maybe 25 years ago. Sounded like a gun shot. I never did figure it out other than maybe it was very cold when I started driving and the sun was beating down on rear glass. Other than that, have no clue.

I have a friend that has a SOB 5W that is only a couple years old that had a window pane shatter while it was parked at his house. Was not caused by a thrown rock from a lawnmower, bullet, weather, etc. It just shattered. He ordered a window(the glass) from the manufacturer and installed himself.
