Hot water heater

Just bought a 27rei wildwood can't get the Hot water to work on electrical no power on the element may be a faulty switch any suggestions....thanks

Start at the distribution panel, check the circuit breaker there that goes to the water heater.

Look behind the water heater and see if the water heater is even plugged into an electrical outlet (this is a common thing that it's not).

Looks like your thread got sidetracked by Daniel.

Is the heater a Suburban model? If so is the outside switch on?
If you're pretty sure the outside switch is on, try pressing the reset buttons behind the rubber cover labeled reset. If that doesn't work remove the cover and see if the fusible link is open.
