How to cover screw holes on exterior surface. Any ideas?

Hey everyone. How do you repair old unused screw holes on the outside of a motor home?
Iím replacing clearance lights and installing magnetic holders for the storage flaps on my motor home. The new light holes are off, so Iíve been using an exterior filler called Dap Platinum patch for the holes and drilling new ones. No real problem there because the new clearance lights still cover the holes and Im using caulking around the lights.
My problem is Iím removing the old broken storage flap holders and theyíre located half off the door so the hook on the holder can hold the storage flap. To use the magnetic ones I bought, I have to install them further in. So I canít use the old holes, and I donít want to just fill them with filler. Iíd like it to be finished correctly. Anyone fixed these holes before? Is this gonna have to be a full on body repair where I have to fiberglass the holes, sand it down and get paint matched spray paint to blend? 😓
