I messed up

Well, today I replaced the freshwater fill-tube on my 2012 Salem Cruise Lite. I was opening a new can of acetone to clean the surfaces before applying some new sealant and the can had some pressure and acetone squirted all over the back corner wall. So now I have this horrible white spot and white runs down the wallpaper in that bunk. This is going to drive me crazy. The rest of the interior or the camper is perfect. So, I'd like to find that same wallpaper and just hang it on that square back there. It is probably a 3x3 square that I need. But, I'm having trouble sourcing the wallpaper.

Does anybody know where I can find the same wallpaper that FR used in the camper?

Thanks!

Maybe you can just paint it? Not sure of the space...but maybe a “faux” technique would work to make it look like an accent wall?

I could, but I'm hoping I don't have to. I could easily just buy some peel n stick wallpaper and cover it, but I'm hoping I can match it up with the same paper the factory panels have.

Have you checked with a dealer about ordering it?

Most dealers or mfgrs won’t have parts for a 2012 from what I’ve been told.

I'm going to call Forest River Customer Service on Mon. I bought the camper used so I'm not expecting much help from mgfr on this. There are a couple rv service places I can check with to see if they have a source for the standard wallpaper. I'll report back here if I have any luck.

When I looked into replacing some wallpaper to cover a repair I did, FR told me the company that did the wallpaper for them only sold it on the panels, ready to install, that they did not sell just the wallpaper itself. My trailer at the time was only two years old. I could not find matching paper, and ended up painting the section.

I hate to sound negative but I believe you are "sol"on this unless you can find the same TT in a junk yard or something of the sort that happens to have that same wallpaper panel.

Let’s spin this a different way. Go buy some wallpaper you like and put that up. Doesn’t matter if it matches. If anyone asks about it just say it’s the “accent” wall. I 100% believe this is what all designers and house flippers do to justify using leftover materials from another job

I'd leave the stain on a bunk wall as is. If someone asks what it is, make up a cool story and laugh about it. Honesty in cosmetic damage is good, covering it up invites suspicion.

Perhaps you could buy or make a fake access panel. Nobody thinks twice about those in campers.
