I'm confused what's going on here.
2021 Rockwood. Both these plugs are after the inverter. I know one goes to the fridge but no idea what the other one does. Need some help please.

2021 Rockwood WHAT? Model number would help.
Rockwood makes popups, A-frames, travel trailers and 5th wheels.

It might be for an add-on like an ice maker. Something that would go in the same compartment slot.

I would say that it provides 110 volts AC to whatever you plug into it.

I suspect the one with the purple wire is fed from the inverter, the one with multiple white wires is likely fed from the shore power only. If that is the case, the second plug could be used for the fridge if the inverter were to fail. It also might be for an optional appliance which you do not have. I don’t know for sure, just thinking with my fingers here.

My 2021 2608bs uses purple romex for the 120v out of the inverter. So my guess is that outlet is on the inverter and question is what have they plugged in to it. Do you have a 120v fridge?

I can't comment on your specific model but I have seen some R/Vs that had an outlet for the refrigerator to be plugged into if built with the standard dual power refrigerator. (absorption LP/electric. That outlet is fed from the power distribution box and all of their units are made this way and have this outlet.
Then... if that model R/V is ordered with the OPTIONAL residential refrigerator, when the inverter is installed, (to power the refrigerator when traveling) they simply add a second outlet, fed from the inverter, rather than canabilizing the existing wiring. The original outlet is then simply not used.

I agree with 5picker, the faceplates on both of those outlets having a opening for a single plug are the type used for refrigerators.

Much better and more appropriate answer to what the OP was asking. Especially better than the poster immediately before you.

I'm sorry my answer did not meet your expectations, but the simple fact is that it is a standard 110v AC single outlet used in RVs. My water heater in my trailer is plugged into an outlet just like that and when I am winterized it is a very convenient place to unplug the water heater and plug in a small space heater with a freeze protection thermostat setting. The outlet provides 110v AC to whatever is plugged into it - that's what it does.

Refrigerators...and microwave ovens and water heaters. (Probably not water heaters from the inverter, but they do use a simplex--not duplex--outlet).

There were lots of assuming or guessing on this form. Since this camper is new, (if it is new) it should of giving you the information during the walk through. Maybe you need to go back to the dealer to get the information.

The most likely full explanation is post #8. The extra outlet is not connected to the inverter but standard AC wiring and an AC/LP gas 2-way gas absorption fridge would be plugged into it and the outlet with the purple wire would not be there

I don't think so. The air conditioner and water heater draw too much current for too long a time for dry-camping use. They would drain a battery bank in an hour.
The only logical uses are refrigerator (moderate current, maybe 30% duty cycle), and microwave oven (high current, short duration).

As I stated, the extra outlet in the photo has white 110v AC wiring going both into it and out from it. It is NOT connected to an inverter. Therefore A/C (air conditioning), microwave, or water heater connected to the circuit would not be drawing power from the battery. It is only hot when connected to shore power or generator.
My air conditioner is hardwired in, not plugged into an outlet. My microwave and water heater are plugged into single outlet receptacles just like in the photo with white 110v AC wiring. I have not removed my 2-way gas absorption fridge to look behind it but I can 99% guarantee that it is plugged into a single outlet receptacle just like the top one in the picture. The second outlet in the photo is on a separate circuit powered by the inverter indicated by a sing purple 110v AC wire going into it.

I have to go with what 5picker said. It looks like a prep for some other kind of fridge or ice maker maybe. Either way you have an extra outlet to use. Our 2021 Rockwood 8298KS has these everywhere there is an outlet. Some have no plug in and are just a junction box. Kind of strange. I replaced one entirely. It was under a cabinet and the item plugged in was one of those pop up USB outlets. ( I find useless really ) I put a normal junction box in underneath and added a wall out to the side of the cabinet. If you look at what's behind the out side wall double outlet you'll see the same kind of fake outlet with no plug at all. Its one of those junction boxes. Seems to be just what they use. I know trying to pull a wire out of one is not easy and while it may not look like a good idea they hold the wires in very well.

Commander, that's just a guess, isn't it? That just because the wire color changes it must be shore-powered and not through the inverter? It's possible. Isn't it equally likely that both outlets are fed from the inverter? I don't believe the OP stated one way or the other.

Top plug appears to be in series with another plug. My refrigerator is on a dedicated circuit. My fireplace next to refrigerator is in series with other plugs.
