Definitely a weird table. I'm a fiddler by nature so I figured it out the first time we looked at the trailer, though it took me a while. It's weird having to pull it towards you both to put it down AND lift it up.

I put a strap with a turn button on the table so it's easy to release for camping or secure for travel.

They showed me how to do it when we did the walk through. I can do it no problem, just don't like the way you have to do it. Kind of cumbersome, and that it has to be down while traveling. I do like what you did to hold the table. Might have to try that.

Restcure, I really like what you did. I'll be back in my TT on Saturday to try and figure things out with my table given the input from others and will definitely keep in mind what you have done. Thanks!

It doesn't have to be down for traveling if it's strapped in place (see above)

I purchased a Viking 17RD Sept'17...I couldn't get into the table! I'm not a big woman but between the cabinet that has the stove top and the refrigerator on the opposite side, there's no way I could squeeze into the 7" gap! On top of that, when I went to convert the table to the bed....I pulled the floor ring out of the floor!! And cracked the front one in two! OMG was I furious! A brand new travel trailer!!! OMG!! Then upon further investigation (on YouTube) the table was originally a fold-leg style table that the dealership replaced with this two post mess! ...... well, that's ok.... Monday morning the manufacturer is going to be receiving a call from yours truly!! Fit-to-be-tied!
