Kitchen bar top needs repair

Between the kitchen and living room is a small divider extending out from the kitchen cabinet. It has a decorative covering glued to it. The end section of the cabinet top is in two pieces matched up. My problem is this, where the two pieces match up it has cracked and separated. Not enough to warrant tearing out. Is there some kind of glue to put in the crack, realign the top, to fix it? Not knowing the counter top material, I don't want to get something that will not hold. Still learning a lot things here. Thanks for any thoughts.

You might need a grandchild.

When you go to post a reply, under Additional Options further down the page is an Attach files Option. Of course, you need to know where the picture is on your computer.

Not being able to see what you talking about, I can only guess. I have found that a two part epoxy that can be purchased at Walmart will do the trick for you. If you want to get it into a small space, take something like an ice cream stick and sharpen one end with a knife prior to mixing the epoxy, once mixed, use the stick to put some epoxy into the opening or crack. Excess epoxy can be wipe away with rubbing alcohol prior to it setting up.
