Okay thanks, I didn't realize it had a limited life. I will probably put something else in that hole. In my case the wires went into the refrigerator compartment to pick up the 12 volts so I just was able to disconnect it without having to cut anything.

Mine was going off over the Memorial Day weekend whenever the generator was off. I checked my battery and I had a bad cell. I replaced the battery with a spare and the problem went away.
