We (site team) don't mess with or even see your PMs unless someone specifically reports one to us.
In other words we did not delete your PM.
We do remove political comments posted in the open forum, often without notice.

On another note- we do not recommend posting your personal email address in the open forum. If we see where someone has posted their email address in the open forum we will typically remove it for your own good. We suggest passing your email address to another member by PM!!

Now back to our regularly scheduled program!

Something I didn't see mentioned by others is if you plug in or unplug while the outlet is hot you will get arcing. This arcing is accumulative. If you have been doing it this way all along it can cause the same problem. Always turn off the pedestal breaker before plugging in or unplugging. Turn the main breaker off inside your rv if you find a pedestal without a breaker or disconnect switch.

I routinely find all of the breakers on when arriving at campgrounds. Likely, this means that the previous occupant UNplugged while hot.

Across from our seasonal site is about 25 day/weekend sites, several times they leave the covers open, if I feel generous I will go shut the covers and I see almost every time the breakers are still on.
