Minor electrical but I'm baffled
I have a side marker light out on my FR Salem Hemisphere 272RL. Some simple checking; I switched the bulb to another light and the bulb worked fine. Put a new bulb in bad light, nothing. Tested non-working marker light w/ simple 12v test-light, and it was working/lit up the test light, but the marker light won't work with a bulb in it. I kind of assume it is a ground issue but there is no ground wire. Everything looks normal and works with test light. Anybody experience this?

Just a guess on my part without seeing light, but a lot of marker lights have a ground tab on back side of light that one of the mounting screws go through. May have to remove light and clean contact points with emery cloth. May be able to tighten screws a hair and make connection too.

What type of bulb
The slushy machines I work on run a 194 bulb and many times they don't work
If you pull the contact wires out a bit on the bulb it will work

Make certain the socket contact tabs/wires make good contact when the bulb is inserted.

Try a little fatter screw. It may be the light grounds through one of the screws that holds the light in place. The marker lights do not always have two wires.
Good Luck..

I would get me a test wire and ground one end of if to something that you know is a good ground, then take the other end and touch the socket where there should be a ground, it it lights you have eliminated a whole host of possibilities. I would almost bet you find that little tab like the other posters stated that is not grounded. Once you determine that is the problem the fix is pretty easy.
