Moisture Barrier ripped

We just returned to Wisconsin from Florida and when we got back I noticed that the moisture barrier between the frame and the bottom of the trailer had come loose and I was dragging part of it. I have attached some pictures so hopefully that helps to explain what I am talking about.

I am guessing I would need to do something to protect the wood that is now exposed on the bottom of the trailer but I have no idea what that something would be. I does look like this was installed before the trailer was put on the metal frame. Now that it has come loose it this spot it is start to come loose in all the other spots. The trailer is only 1 1/2 years old at this point.

Thanks for any advice you might have.

I had a similar situation when I blew a tire last year in Chicago on my way to Milwaukee. What I did was spray the wood with flex seal, then stapled on some corrugated material like realtor signs or political signs are made with, then I sprayed again with flex seal. I think it is better protected now than before.

Check Amazon for the term Coroplast.

Corrugated Plastic. That's what came on the bottom of mine. It's convenient but can be costly.

But it allows me to open a section and then can close it up again with 2X3 panels using #14 self tapping screws and gorilla tape for a water tight close.

Here's a link from amazon for a roll, but you can also buy this in different size "signage" sheets.

https://www.amazon.com/Coroplast-Pol...ords=coroplast

Also available at Lowes and HD in the signage section, but even more expensive.
