Mystery crank.

I have a question about this mystery crank on my forest river vibe 268rks.
I think it s the manual override for the slide out. Thoughts?

That would be correct. Manual slide crank. You should have a handle that fits it to turn it with. Wish mine was like that. I have to remove panels on the underbelly to access mine

Yes that is your manual crank, make one out of a ratchet or better a electric drill motor fitting, takes a lot of cranking.

A reminder, you should know how and where to manually pull in and extend all slides before you go on a trip. I have seen trailers and RVs where they could not get the slides in (due to power failure) as in they didn't know the location or have the tools.

That's a big money tow or service call as you cant drive with the slides out or stabilizers down.

Get all the tools you need too.

Good luck.

That's a good point. I have a 2018 Grey Wolf 23MK TT w/ electric slide (disco song?) and electric stabilizers. The TT had 2 cranks in the storage compartment when I bought it. A shorty that fits in the top of the electric tongue jack, and a long one (pbly 2-1/2 feet) that works the stabilizers. Does anyone know if the stabilizer crank also works for the slide out? The TT is in storage, but I'll definitely look for the manual crank position for the slide the next time I get it out.
Thanks for the tip.
