New Wildwood owner

We just purchased our '03 Wildwood 26FLS and so far are thrilled with what we see. However, it was an auction/bank repo and there are no books on any of the components...is Forest River still "alive" ? I need some info on the slide room (our first)such as maintenance, adjustments, etc.I also need a crank handle for it... Also, do any of you tow yours with a Chevy Express conv. van with a 3:73 rear? Hopefully, ours will do the job as we travel to FL.each fall for the winter-we plan to lighten up for the trip. It towed extremely well on the 100 mile trip back from the sale through mountains but of course it was empty. This is our seventh trailer but first that wasn't a Sunline...I find the quality in this unit to be as good as or even better than our previous units! Got get that Dometic recall done though..Thanks for any comments..! Jan

Hi campbugjan1,

Welcome to FRF

Below is a link to a Forest River generic manual. Most of these manuals are not Brand specific(as per appliances). Usually, you can visit the appliance maker's website and download the user manuals.

As for the manual hand cranks, most RV dealers or RV suppliers stock, or can order them.

The slide could be made by different manufacturers, but adjustment is usually straight forward.
Possible slide manufacturers are Lippert Components , M-Tec Corporation or Dexter Chassis Group
