Does it have a wall mounted thermostat? If so does it light up when selecting a mode?
Do you hear anything when you turn it on?
You would have to go in the roof to do some diagnostics with the unit turned on. As long as your sure the breaker is on and your plugged into correct power.

Do the rest of the A/C's work?
Do they have separate thermostats or is it just one thermostat for all units?

Thanks so much. Yeah thermostat is on the wall and it does light up when selecting mode. Breaker is good and our generator is a 7500 watt so it should be coming on. Will have to check out the ac unit itself. Thanks again. I appreciate it.

Since there's just one thermostat can you select both Zone 1 and Zone 2 on the Tstat?
Can you operate the different modes in each zone?

No. Only one zone on thermostat.. Also, Why would my furnace shut down when the generator gets turned off? Would that mean I need an additional deep cycle battery attached instead of just one? It's a park model so the ignitor is electric for both the stove and furnace but wouldn't the furnace pilot still stay on even after I turn off generator?

Any advice/thoughts would be super helpful

It sounds like the thermostat has lost communication with the living room A/C. If it doesn't have communication with both A/C's it just displays one zone. It could be the control board in the A/C or it could be the communication cable between the units.

The igniter for the furnace should be 12 volts so if it quits when you shut off the generator it's losing 12 volt power which leads to the battery being bad or disconnected.

Do all the other 12 volt items work when you shut off the generator?

Yeah. Everything else works on 12V when genny is shut down except Refrigerator that is an electric only fridge. I am going to rip up a second battery to see if that does the trick..

Thank you so much for your replies. Extremely helpful. I appreciate it.
