One control forgot it has slides

Hey everyone!
I have a 2019 vengeance 395KB that just randomly forgot it had slide outs. Has anyone else ran into this issue? Lippert seems to think it’s the multi-purpose board not have a 12 V or communication of some kind but nothing is moved since they were slid out now they won’t go in, doesn’t help that forest river doesn’t know where they put the board or how it’s wired 🤦*♂️
Thanks for any help ya have

I also have a Lippert slide out on my 2016 Sunseeker . The controll board is in a compartment under the slide out. If you go on there website there are instructions on how to reset controller. Good luck.

LCI did give you correct information, but to elaborate a bit.
The One Control screen will not show an icon/function if 1 of 2 things happen. The missing module loosing 12 VDC or if the CAN bus is interrupted. Of course the module could fail, unlikely with your symptoms.

In this case most likely your slides are controlled by the 5 or 8 output multifunction module. You will need to locate the module (look behind access panels & drawers) and verify that the 12 VDC power is present and that both CAN bus (small 2 pin connector) are tightly connected. Also you will need to locate any modules that are connected to the CAN bus on either side of the multifunction module as the CAN bus is a daisy chain and a loose connector there can cause a different module to not be seen.
If there is only one one CAN bus cable going to a module a terminator (plug with a resistor/heat shrink around it) will be in the 2nd connector.

Good info from Steve. In my case, the secondary touch control panel in the bedroom could "see"and operate the slides, but the main touch panel could not, nor could the app "see" them while using my phone.

LCI advised me to find all the small two pin connectors at the board and then disconnect and reconnect each one to help ensure a good connection and then reboot by turning the main coach power switch off and back on (which fixed it).

These are the data communication wires that "see and talk" to each component. I suspect that these little connectors weren't completely tight from the factory and wiggled loose after about 2000 miles. 8000 miles later, all is still good.

Regarding the exact location of the panel, you can try going to the general discussion area here and find the discussions related to your specific model and ask there if other folks have found it before.

By the way, for future reference to others, the LCI helpline is 574-537-8900. Great folks, and way more helpful than FR or my dealer.
