Parts

Why does it take Forest River so long to deliver parts that have been ordered.
It generally takes 6 to 8 weeks for the parts to arrive.

I have not experienced that and found when I checked with FR who provided the ordered date and shipped date it was the dealer who was slow to order the parts. With that said I'm sure there are time the opposite is true

My first instinct would be it is generally the dealer. I had to have a sideview camera replaced under warranty. I contacted my dealer and they got my claim approved in 4 or 5 days from FR. The part was shipped from FR to my home which I received in about 6 or 7 days. Total time from my contacting dealer to having replacement in my hand was under two weeks. I had an issue with a Furion power cord for my RV. I called Furion and had a new cord at my house in 3 days with a prepaid return label for the old cord. Of course if a part is back ordered or not in stock that may slow things. But the stories we hear on this forum about RV's sitting at the dealer for 8 weeks or more waiting on simple parts seems ridiculous. I wouldn't be quick to always blame FR for the delays.

I'm still waiting on parts. My dealer ordered them three weeks ago. I have seen the order and the date on it. He says forest rivers is slow in delivering parts and half the time they are the wrong parts. Your experience was not with forest river but there vendors

If I order from FR 3 to 4 days, maybe a month from the STEALER....

My part came directly from FR not a vendor.

Contact FR/Blue Ridge and find out what's up.

I would still contact FR parts dept to verify that they got the order.
I betting that they haven't yet.
Or the parts are sourced from other companies that are delaying it.
