Can anyone tell me if I can buy parts from Forest River, if so , how? Or, do I have to go to a dealer.

Since there warranty policy with dealers is changing, you just may be able to. I did a couple years ago, but that Was for normal wear items. Give them a call. Worst they can say is no.

I was going to order a piece of trim molding for my slide out. Forest River was going to send the part but it was $250 just for shipping. I ordered from e-bay seller instead. Part and shipping in was about $55 if I recall. So if you do go that the forest river route I would recommend you ask the shipping costs.

I find most everything I need at Amazon. I have an orphaned SOB so I can't go to the manufacturer for parts. But most things are generic to all brands.

Go to Ford with chassis vin number, not what you have. They can look,up vin and order the correct part. Their system changed for getting parts. You need a vin.number. You should see the look on the guys face when I ask for a part for my 1932 Ford!

Forget them. Like I said, go to a Ford dealer with your Chassis vin number. That is an F53 chassis.

On my coach, all of that stuff is from Evans, a 3rd party that Georgetown uses. See if you can find what you want in the attached pdfs.

Thanks, the part I'm looking for is the knob that you put your fingers on to change the direction of the flow of air.
