Please help..furnace broke full time rv in pa!
If anyone can please take the time to possibly call me and walk me through some trouble shooting a suburban furnace . I live in my rv full time and in PA it just got super cold this week and the furnace has never had an issue. I have a forest river cardinal ....I think it is a 2013. I have a full 250 gallon propane tank and the stovetop works good with solid blue flame. I put direct power to the blower and the motor works. All fuses and breakers look good. The thermostat seems to click both are the wall then the furnace. However I get nothing....the blower will not fire up. I have a pretty significant learning problem as far as watching YouTube video or reading about how to troubleshoot the furnace. I am pretty knowledgeable if someone could please call or maybe video call and see what I can do next(check circuit board or inducer motor) . I have a space heater and the tank warmers on but with the wind lately I am lucky the power has not gone out. I am not sure if it is ok to post my cellphone but my name is Lenny 272.788.1429 and if it is not ok to post my number I will delete ....Thank you !

This was posted by Larry-Nc on another thread in January. Try what he says:
That's plenty. As suggested, first check for 12volts at the furnace. If not present, check the wiring back to the fuse panel and connections at the fuse panel.
If you have 12 volts at the furnace, bypass the thermostat by connecting the two wires (possibly blue) together.
If you can, do that near the furnace and near the thermostat.
If it doesn't work both places, you need a new furnace control board, not too hard to find and install.
If the furnace starts when you jumper near the furnace, but not at the thermostat, there's a broken wire or bad connection between them.
If the furnace starts when jumpered at both places, the thermostat is misbehaving. A lot of people LOVE those digital thermostats, but by gosh, you can visually tell when the contacts open and close on the old mechanical ones.

Let me know if you have done the checks above.
If the furnace blower never runs and you have:
--Checked that there is 12v to the furnace, and
--Manually jumpered the two wires to the thermostat
then there are a couple more easy things to check.

Possible if the thermostat is capable of operating both furnace and air conditioner but the trailer only has a furnace. The tipoff is if the thermostat has a switch labelled Heat-Off-Cool.
Did you notice that my response has your question in a cute, little box above it? You can do this, too. Instead of responding with "Reply", just click "Quote" instead. That way we know who you are responding to.

Could you post the brand name and model of the thermostat?

White/red. If the fan doesn’t come on immediately, remove jumper and proceeded towards furnace.

Yup! Thanks for posting that, Lenny. That's a fairly new "Digital" thermostat meant for heat and cooling. The thermostat only needs two wires. The -12v wire is only used to power the digital stuff. Apparently someone into the "digital craze" replaced the simple mechanical thermostat with this one, which has lots of unused features.
I think these pictures describe your unit. I cannot be positive without a thermostat model number. Do the numbers on these pictures match anything on your thermostat.
There are TWO PARTS to this digital monster: - Thermostat
- Control box
Your problem could be either one. See the attached pictures.
To isolate the problem: - Find the Control Box.
- Take the two "Thermostat" wires from it.
- Jumper them together.
- See if the furnace starts.
