power from house

I am a new rv owner..e-Pro.
Tried to get power from my home but this is not working...nothing. Checked fuse box in basement, fusebox in camper, different outlets of house...The light on the power cord does not turn on.
30 amp camper

Any help is help!! I am super frustrated.

are you possibly tripping the gfci outlet at your house? It is a known issue that some RV's and the leakage current from various sources (like a converter) will often times trip a gfci outlet at a house.

Have you plugged in other items into this gfci outlet to make sure it has not tripped.

The gfci outlet will have a reset button on it.

Are you using any kind of extension cord between the RV's shore power cord and the outlet.

Yes, I have tried my blowdryer in the outlet and it works.
I also have used different extension cords and different outlets.

When was the last time the camper was used? Is there a battery disconnect switch on your unit, Does it run off the battery?

Great, so it was just the adapter. Easy fix. Glad you got it going.
