Powerwinch P30001 problems

We have a Rockwood HW276 popup that we bought 2.5 years ago. The Powerwinch P30001 has always been a problem, and when we went to bring the top down yesterday the winch was completely dead. We tried using the nut with a power drill, but the nut stripped and wouldn't engage the gears to bring the roof down. I checked the connections from the switch and discovered a loose 50 amp fuse which I need to find a replacement for. So, I have two questions: does anyone know a way to re-engage that nut? Secondly, any source for a replacement fuse?

We have a 2006 Flagstaff HW25ST and we have looked all over and can not find where the nut is to raise or lower the top manually. Our battery sits on top of the winch casing. Can someone help us out?
