Put on new stabilizers

Put new ones on my Rockwood Premier, directions called to put on lithium grease on threads, does this product come in “clear”, don’t want to put black grease on brand new item, can you get this at Local car parts store?

I don't like grease on the stabilizers so I use transmission fluid applied in drops with a nail. Doesn't collect dirt from the road spray the way grease will. Applied in the spring is good for a summer of camping.

It all eventually turns brown or black with dust and road grime.

Obviously thinking of different stabilizers than I am. Mine are the scissors jacks, so they do hold weight. And yes, I do lubricate the thread with transmission fluid.

Can't say as I have ever heard of a threaded rod rotating because of longitudinal pressure against the head of the rod. I suppose it is possible, especially if there were a vibration present, say from a generator or similar.
