Hello there...

TST, not the cheapest, but has the best reviews. I have had mine for 5 years with zero issues. Love the color monitor and how it displays alarms.

+1 for TST.

The TST display can support many different tire/vehicle configurations. The biggest decision with TST is whether you go with the flow-through monitors or the cap-type monitors. Most suggest that if you go for the larger flow-through, you should use solid metal valve stems. We have hybrid (brass & rubber) valve stems so we went with the cap-type monitors.

I have been using the TST 507 color system since it was first released. On my first camper I installed the cap sensors, and also put them on my F150, even though it has factory TPMS. I did this for two reasons; to get the temperature, and so I can see everything on one display. My current trailer included a TST system and came with the in-tire sensors already installed, and I transferred caps from my old system to the spare on the truck and trailer, and sold the old display with two caps. You can稚 go wrong with TST. A great company with outstanding customer service.

Recommendations for TPMS?

+3 for TST507. Had another brand that used the iPhone as a display. TST507 works better for me.

I'd go with the TST 507 which is the Best. You'll thank yourself in years to come.

Yes, it does cost more but often the best things do.

Yes you should get one, your rig can sustain significant damage if a tire significantly deflates and starts to shred.

Battery Life

An older thread but thought I would see if anyone has any info on the longevity of the batteries for the "inside the tire" sensors.

Just curious. My TST works great.

I asked that question of the TST factory rep at the Goshen rally. He said they should last 5 -7 years. He didn't say they were guaranteed for that. The printed warranty is 3 years.
I have nothing but praise for the TST systems. I had the screw on caps first and still have them on my TV. Now have the internals on my new trailer.

I was very happy with my TireMinder TPMS when it alerted me of a rapidly leaking tire. I was able to get the trailer pulled over in time before it went completely flat. It had a 1/4" bolt in it, but it was repaired being I was able to get it stopped quick enough.
