Give it some time, may take up to 6+ hours to get cold

you might get a better response if you give more info to what make and model your fridge and the Trailer as well
and post in the right forum

is it on shore power or propane?
How long has the fridge / freezer been on for?

do you have a thermometer to verify the freezer is cold enough to keep it frozen and what temp is the fridge at?

The "number 5" threw me. My temp controler is a clip that slides up and down one of the fins on the heat sink. I have no idea what make or model he has.

my 84 had a dometic and it had a dial. the switch over, from gas to elec, was mechanical and done from knobs on the front and bottom.
that unit use to take over night before the frig would get cold. abt 4 yrs after i had it (abt 1996), all u could hear was a girgle. when i tore into it, the steel tubing had rusted thru (in the cold section) and the ammonia had leaked out. what was surprising is that i never smelled it. the way the frig is installed, it is sealed off from the living area. guess it all went out the back.

frankie62298, there is a refrigerator damper switch at the top f the door on some Dometic models that allows more or less cool air into the refrigerator area, depending on the switch's position. Open the fridge door, and look at the area between the fridge and freezer for the sliding switch. Not sure if all models have it or not, though. Good luck, Randy
