Well, despite my best efforts we had a blowout on our one year old castle rocks. I inflated to the sticker recommended PSI and had cruise set at 65. Blew out any way.
I had some minor damage to the fender and to the immediate under carriage. The fender I’m not too worried about, but I’d love suggestions on repairing the under carriage. It looks like thin plywood with foam on the other side. I’d like something that wouldn’t be a red flag to a potential buyer, as it’s really minor damage.
You could use spray foam to plug all the holes. Let it dry a day or so and trim it flush. The as poster said above get some sheet metal and fabricate a sheet metal cover fastened by stainless screws 1/2” long.
