Replacement Adjustable A/C Register?
Anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a replacement A/C register that has adjustable louvers would fit the hole that FR cut in the ceilings?
I bought this one without measuring well, figuring if I buy *1* and it's wrong, so what. And it was, it doesn't fit.

What size hole is in the ceiling?
Have you looked at J&R products?

I think 7"
I did check their site, none of them are large enough. It'd be nice if I could find out who made the ones that FR uses, as I could get exact specs and perhaps the mfgr has other models, but the same size.

Thanks for the pics and the info.
I was just looking at the same thing. The bathroom is always freezing in our RV and I am wanting to get some adjustable registers so I could close off the flow to the bath.
I guess we'll have to continue the search. I'll post if I find some that will work and would appreciate it if you would do the same.

Here's one that's close to being the right size. I'll measure ours this evening and see if it'll fit.

I'm going to go back to my toy hauler at lunch and measure a couple of the openings just to know exact sizing. More to come.
Also, not sure how that one installs, I dont see screw holes. Maybe it is similar to the stock ones where you pull out the louvers (non adjustable) and there are screw holes under. Let's deal with the size thing first.

Thanks for the attempt to help though.

I think this is a winner.
The holes cut in the ceiling are not precise and even the ones that come with my toy hauler do not fit super tight (they dont need to), but the screws hold them in. They look to be this exact same size.
It's funny how close I came. I looked at my order , it is a D&W 8840WH. I need an 8850!
https://www.amazon.com/8840WH-Spacep...ords=8850+vent
I believe I need 6 for my TH, but I ordered 7.
Also, FYI that it looks like the 2017 models have different registers (google image search), but I think I saw that brand and it didnt have adjustable louvers either.

Hopefully these will work. I'm going to order a few and if they work as well as I think, I'll change them all. I'm even thinking of adding one to the bedroom. There's plenty of duct after the one that's in there.

In my unit you can hang meat in the bathroom when the a/c is on. I just pulled the vent out of the ceiling and made a round cardboard disk to cover the louvers and popped it back in. Now the bathroom is fine and I get more air flow to the one vent in our bedroom. Cardboard is your friend!

I was going to block part of the vent if I couldn't find registers that would close.
I measured the registers in our RV and the D&W Jetstream 8850 are a perfect fit.
The O.D. of the registers in our RV are 6-7/8" and the hole size is 5-3/4".
The dimensions shown on the website for the 8850 are 6-7/8" O.D. and 5-13/16" Insertion size.
I ordered several, and I'll let everyone know how they turn out.

I installed the ones I ordered and they fit right in the existing mounting rings.
The airflow out of them seems to be greater, but that may be just because all the air is flowing the same direction.

100% identical back mounting ring. No need to even swap that (unscrew it). Simply use your finger, pull the current non-adjustable louver unit out, snap in the adjustable one. Done.

Having same issue
Top bunk is too cold for my son because the vent blows directly down on him. Bad design. I definitely need to find a way to control/close the air flow near that bunk. I almost bought the same small one on Amazon... Thanks for the post and info!
