"Rewiring RV for Satellite Use"

I think this subject has probably been beaten to death over the years but after reading all the post I can find I still am unsure of the following. We recently purchased a 2005 FR Forester. We want to rewire for Satellite. It only has the cable plug on the back left side. My DH is getting ready to perform the "RCSU" pdf file. There is already a solid state TV in the living room and a connection for a TV in the bedroom. My question is, does it matter which connection he converts per the "RCSU" instructions (living room versus bedroom) and if he does this conversion will both TVs then work (show same channels etc.)? Thank you for your help. For someone who is electronic illiterate this is really difficult!

I used and outside electrical box....installed a dual antennae connector inside the box. Ran cables from that to the bedroom and living room. One cable is for cable tv hookup and the other is for Dish tv. On cable and Dish tv....we get seperate programming on both tv's . Only ran the Dish cable to the living room as we use a receiver that connects to the bedroom tv to allow different prigramming.
