Screen Door Hinge Broke

Looking for some guidance on our 2016 390QSMB…..the lowest screen door hinge broke at the “inside corner” of the metal plate causing the lower half of the door to “flip” around. From looking at the hinge assembly it appears the hinge is all one piece for both the screen and exterior door??? I don’t see a way to simply change out that bottom hinge. Any hints??

Thanks!
Jim

I have a 2016 PrimeTime TracerAir TT that had the same thing happen. Does your door have friction hinges? If so, it probably is a Lippert door assembly.
My dealer had to remove the entire door assembly and replace it with a new one.

Door hinge

Not knowing what the hinge looks like, can it be fixed by having some one weld it back together?

Look up "Lippert friction hinge" or "rv door hinge" on eBay. It should be available. There are YouTube videos that show how to replace the hinges.

Unfortunately they are not friction hinges and appear to be all one piece, all the way up.

I’ve looked on YouTube for videos but haven’t found anything like my setup. Most are for friction hinges which mine is not. Unfortunately our 5er is not here so I cannot take a pic of it.

I was looking on eBay to find hinges the weren't the friction type, which I dislike. I did find some but they would not fit my door. If you can find them on eBay maybe they'll fit yours.

The make and model number of your door assembly, should be on the door frame.
