Sealing floor penetration

Does anyone have a good option for a caulk that can be used from the underside of the trailer to fill a floor penetration without falling out of the hole before it sets up?

Ran new wires for the battery monitor. Found an existing floor penetration that had other wires and a propane line (for the side wall connection for the grill) running thru it. From the underside, it was filled to overflowing with some kind of sealant (seemed like silicone). I hope I am describing that good enough - - the existing sealant was mounded around the hole and looked like the bottom half of a ball stuck up there. (see sketch)

Anyway, the hole is about 1" to 1-1/4" in diameter. I had to dig the existing sealant out to get the new wire (with it's JST connector on the end) thru and now need to refill it. Am worried that in a hole that big any sealant will just drop out to the ground before it sets up.

Any suggestions appreciated.

A piece of 1/4 inch plywood with a slot for the wires and propane line fastened to the underside to make the hole small enough to be manageable.

What NMWildcat said, I use it on my current fiver and my last two TT. I use the Pest Block version supposed to stop the mice from digging through it. As I find openings I seal them up. Have not had a reason to remove it so not sure how hard that would be.

I used this under my Class C. Designed for exterior applications & similar color & texture to foam used under my Sunseeker. If I remember correctly, it can be used for automotive applications

Last summer replaced both the water fill and city water connection valves. Both those water lines were bonded together in a bundle with foam spray forming a column of foam - assuming it functions as a stabilizer and protection from road debris - anyway the foam column cracked and I used the foam to bond it all together again.
