Yes, I had to unlock the door to get the latch out f the door. I am resolved there is no practical way to remove that mechanism. I will purchase new latches and have them keyed similarly.

I found it was cheaper to replace all my slam latches door locks and cam locks from rvlocksandmore.com than it was to swap all the keys via a locksmith and now everything has the same key that does not allow a master key to unlock it.
