Sunseeker Tail Light Bulb

I have a 2013 Sunseeker 3170DS, what bulbs are used for the tail lights, rear turn signals and running lights.

Any magic in changing these?

Thanks,

Tom

I would say no magic, pop off the covers, remove the bulb, take to your local auto supply store match it up and pop it back in. I haven't needed to change turn signals yet so those might be different.

Check out this thread. LED replacements are much more visible and simple to install.

If you have conventional brass base bulbs like those in our 2011 Sunseeker, you may want to add some sealer around the lenses. The fixtures have no seals. Some have reported water getting into the fixtures. Once, water got into 3 of the 4 on ours while driving in heavy rain and the water shattered the bulbs. Oddly, this only happened once even though we have driven in the rain many times. After having the bulbs shatter, I ran a small bead of black RTV around the top and sides of the base, let it set a few minutes to skin over, then put the lens back on. The RTV doesn't stick to both, so I could easily remove the lenses later. I didn't put RTV on the bottom so it wouldn't prevent condensation from draining. Some stated they just used Vaseline.

Are the interior 12v LED light bulbs available at an auto supply or do I have to go to a RV dealer?
