I de-winterize (summerize? springize?) at the very end of April or early May. I'm in Colorado where March is typically our snowiest month of the year and April goes back and forth between hot weather and snow. It doesn't take much for small, above-ground pipes to freeze. Mid-April would probably be OK for me, but I don't get to camp until mid/end of May anyway.
You can always run a few experiments. Just get some scrap pipe and put water in it. Leave it outside, ideally suspended from something (not in contact with the ground). Does the water in it freeze? Doesn't really help you right now, but you can build your knowledge for next year.

There is no need to dewinterize until you want to use your RV !!!
Could be May before we get to it !!!

As quick as it is to dewinterize, what's the hurry anyway? I can dewinterize my Vengeance in 10 minutes. Just run fresh water through the thing, throw the anode rod into the water heater, let it fill and you're done.

Not me. I don't drink the water, just use it for flushing & washing.

Still a good idea to sanitize the fresh water tank. Very small amount of bleach needed to accomplish the task and you probably already have the bleach in your laundry room.
We don't drink it either but if you wash with it the water will eventually touch your mouth at some point. If you wash vegetables with the water that's a very good way for it to occur.

In my PUP, the water system clearly hadn't been sanitized by the original owner(s). Even though we weren't wanting to drink the water, the lines and the grey water outlet stunk. Lots of biofilm had built up. It took me a lot of time and bleach to rinse that stuff out. Sanitizing might not be a bad idea even if you don't drink it. It keeps the lines healthy and free of biofilm.
Good luck.

I had emptied the potable tank & the water heater, and then blew it out with compressed air to winterize. So there was little if any water left before I half filled the water tank last month. If I note a funky aroma, I'll hit the tank with some Clorox.

I do this every year, My system is sitting with bleach water since Sunday.
I normally hook up a hose and spray down the awning with the same bleach water.

I sanitize with this stuff:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I pour half the container into my FW tank then fill the tank the rest of the way with water. I will then use my pump to pump it throughout the camper including the water heater. I'll let sit for 24hrs before flushing again with plain water.

I did the half bottle trick as well the first time we did it. I didn't however flush it through and refill the tank. A few days later it stung our mouths to brush our teeth, skin started itching, and my hair started turning white. Maybe just a little too much bleach. I found out that 2oz. for about 40 gals. is the right amount to use. Search the internet for the proper amount to add for your size tank. You won't be sorry.
