Using 2 Honda EU2000 generators

My question is,is there any way of protecting my RV appliances (air conditioner) when using paralleled generators if for some reason one of them quits? I was going to hook the Progressive Industries protector up but I understand that it would just keep trying to restart my A/C. I am new to the forum so Hello and thank you for any information.

If you were running two Honda (or other parallel capable ) generators in parallel and one quit it would depend on what was running. If the load at the time it quit was more than the one generator could handle, the breaker on that running generator would trip and everything would shut off. Things like AC's usually are damaged by operating at low voltages. Unless you had a very long power cord, you would most likely not have a low voltage for any length of time before the breaker tripped.

When I run my Honda's together, I have them hooked together and when one stops if the air conditioner is running it just trips the breaker on the other generator

When using the generators, if your using a hardwired surge protector, and it's mounted in a hard to get at spot, you'll need a grounding plug in one generator
