Valve stems for TPMS caps too short?

Ok... so here’s a great question for everyone who have or are considering getting a TPMS system.

On our new 2020 Sunseeker 2400W MBS, we’re planning to install the TST 507 TPMS. We’ll probably use the screw-on caps. But here’s our problem. Upon inspection of the valve stems on each wheel, ALL of them are too short to screw the TPMS sensors on. The tips of the valve stems are inside the chrome wheel simulators.

So, my plan is to take the rug to Schucks and have all the stems replaced (metal stems), and ensure the new stems extend outside the wheel simulators.

That said, I’m getting back to my opening question: Should I be installing all new stems to accommodate the screw-on sensors, or us there another option for me to consider.

Again, all input is greatly appreciated.

Regards, John in Olympian Wa.

Wondering if you could install short, metal valve stem extenders onto metal valves, and then the TST? Ideally new valve stems the right length would be the best option with one less place to leak.
