It is glued to the floor with a vinyl adhesive, otherwise it would buckle.

When I gutted my TT (to repair a soft floor) I removed the vinyl. It was glued down around the perimeter only (about 6" worth) and small splashes of glue around any floor penetration (like where the propane line or drain lines went thru). The remainder was just laying there like a throw rug.

I have removed vinyl flooring two RV's. One was full coverage vinyl adhesive, and was a b*tch to get up completely. The other appeared to be spray-on contact cement all around the edges, and any penetration of joint/seam. It came up very easily.

One thing you could do is look for a manufacture video of your respective Company and RV, to see if they show them laying the flooring down before assembling the structure
