Water heater ignite failure please help!

Hello everyone!

First post is out of necessity! I recently purchased a Berkshire XLT43A and on our first trip I'm getting an ignite failure for the water heater. About 5 days ago when I did the walkthrough with the tech it worked just fine. Now when you turn the switch on with no water running the light stays off. As soon as you turn on water the light flashes a few times on and off for several seconds each until eventually the light stays on. When you turn the water off the light goes out and stays out. The propane tank is full and I have tried turning it off and back on just to verify. Any help is very much appreciated!

Sounds like an "on demand" WH and could be operating correctly..
I agree we need more information from DLeeRV.

If you have a tankless on-demand type water heater, then it has to have a certain water flow rate. Are you connected to city water or using the onboard fresh water tank and pump?

Sorry for not replying sooner! It's been a busy memorial day weekend. I looked through the manual and could not find what I was looking for. I did take a pic of what was on the inside on the compartment. I hope this helps!

I am currently connected to city water. I also stood by the open compartment while my wife turned the heater switch on and I can hear what sounds like the system clicking to try and ignite. I can also somewhat hear the water flowing through the unit.

Could be a couple of things. It sounds like it's trying to light, failing, and giving you a warning light. I'm assuming your propane is on and the line has been purged.
Our on demand water heater has a small red button on the outside to push to reset the ignition. (not your model though)
Have you reset the circuit breaker for the water heater? Turn if off firmly, then on.
Hopefully, someone with your brand will post.

Here is a picture of the unit for reference. I have checked all the fuse, turned the tank off and back on, the tank is at 75%, water is in the unit and comes out the relief valve when I pull it. That's about where knowledge on this ends. Any information past this would be great.
