Water pump sucking

We have a 2014 forest river georgetown, we had this same issue. Changed out pump and filter housing but we discovered that our filter housing was cracked under the label with the name of the part on it. Seems simple but made us work hard to figure it out,

Water pump

Check to see if the valve is open that is used to suck fluid into the water system to winterize. Had this happen to me.

Being an old body man I may recommend a stethoscope to find air leaks . When the end goes over an air leak or water leak the sound gets louder making it easier to find . I still use mine but I have added an extra length of tubing to make it easier to use . Just a thought that may help you .

In my Freelander Micro if the screen filter/anti-syphon valve (at the fresh water inlet) is compromised, the pump will suck air.

We have a Rockwood Mini Lite 2109s and the water pump and the filter are located under the bathroom sink. It is reasonably accessible there. Maybe they switched the location of the plumbing in the 2020 model because of the difficulty to access it.

You did see two posts above yours where the OP took their R/V to the dealer where they found a crack in the Showermiser line?
