What is this caulk

Hello all,

Just wondering if the collective knows what this sealant would be. I have used Dicor and ProFlex. They are greAt products, but they don't set up like this product. I have a classic 625 d pop up. This product is only used for about 18" on the curve of all four corners of the roof and around the fan. Any ideas. Appreciate the comments. Happy camping all. ps sorry for the turned pic. Still can't figure out how to edit them.

I wonder if this isn't butyl caulk tape like you'd get form CW. Just a guess though

I have Butyl tape around the furnace exhaust, 30amp connections, etc... I wonder if they have another type of sealant, too. Thanks the the reply.

If you'll call Roger Beiler at Flagstaff/Rockwood Service & Warranty, he can probably tell you what it is. You can get Roger at (574) 642-8931.

What kind of set up are you referring to? I like the silicone products the rv shop sells mainly because of the available color. On my roof I use a product called geocell which I get from a building supply warehouse I deal with. After using the product in construction for many years and seeing how it holds up on its roof applications I had no worries using it on the hauler

I have a couple tubes of Geocell, too. I like that product. But this is a much harder caulk than that. It does leave a nail imprint if one pushes hard. I haven't had the chance to call FR yet. I hope to have time tomorrow, well that would be today actually, as I am just getting time to reply. I am a bit of a night owl.

As I stated above, it is used in certain areas on my roof. Mainly in the corners along the bend as it curves down.

I'll report back once I hear from FR on which product this is.

Good luck on waiting to hear from forest river lol! It seems hit or miss with them. I keep calling until somebody picks up the phone cause they usually do not return a message

Update on the caulk.

After 2 calls and 3 emails, a nice lady named Anna emailed me back. After checking on my camper, she reported it was Geocell 2300 clear caulk. I looked around the web, and their price was actually better than every site from which I looked except one. But since she was such a big help, I bought two tubes from her. Anyway, I can't wait to get this and patch a few spots with the correct product. Travel safe all.
