Where to get Ford brake service in Northern CA

I've been calling around to Ford Dealers from Reno, NV to Northern CA and ALL THE DEALERS service departments are telling me they no longer service any RV's. Bummer, I should have known this when I bought my Forest River Beyond RB!

Does anyone know where to get Ford chassis (brakes) work done in California or Nevada?

Happydaze RV where I bought just says "good luck". ??

Sorry I can't help on this one.

But I'm curious as to why a Ford Dealer is telling you they won't work on it? Because a camper body sits on the frame? That doesn't make sense to me. Isn't it the same parts as say a 350 or 450?

Exclamation

Do a search specifically for a Ford TRUCK Center. If that fails, try any truck service center.

A Ford dealer near me was equipped to handle my former class C rigs, but not my class A - - their lifts have a limit of 20K pounds, and the service bays aren't long enough for anything over about 28 feet.

That makes a lot of sense. Wasn't thinking in that direction. Thank you.

Yes it's basically a Ford F-350. A mechanic friend of mine told me most Ford dealers in my area are over-booked with repair appointments so they canceled out working on RV's . It's a shortage of mechanics.

BBQJUDGE I use Fairway Ford in Placentia CA when I require service on my Georgetown. Way to far from you to do you much good, however might help someone someday who lives closer. They service all sizes of RV's. They have a dedicated service entrance, service area and mechanics for RV service. https://www.fairwayfordplacentia.com...rd-rv-service/

You’ve got duplicate posts going about your issues with getting your Forest River Beyond serviced with Ford.

1. Duplicate posts just messes things up.
2. Forest River makes lots of RVs. The Beyond model is from the Coachmen division within Forest River since 2008.
3. Pretty sure the Beyond is built on the Ford Transit Chassis. It has nothing in common with a Ford F350, which is the platform for a 1 ton Heavy Duty pickup.

Make sure when you connect with Ford, that you have your information correct, and most certainly have your VIN ready to quote.
