Pull the caps on the mounting bolts of the wipers. Nuts might have just gotten loose with time. When they loosen the arms get pushed up off the splines and don’t turn anymore.Once you pull the covers off you should be able to see if the spindles are moving if they are and the wipers aren’t then tighten the nuts down and should resolve the problem.

Are you talking about the large caps next to the body? I removed the acorn caps nothing moved.

I loosened the large caps then retightened 75%, sprayed wd40 on all the pivot points , activated the wipers and assisted them for a couple of swipes. Now everything is working. My best guess is a binding situation. Just glad they work.
