2018 39A Rear A/C temp on Plex

Questions.... when my rear A/C is on, the actual temp it shows seems to be warmer than what it feels like in coach. As pictured, shows 82’ blowing cold while the front A/C actual temp shows 86’, I don’t see a very big fluctuation in the actual temp posted on the screen for the Rear A/C.

Also, shouldn’t the fan when in AUTO mode- should that be lit up in green like it is when you select either High or Low fan speed?

I think I need to have this Plex updated when I get home after this weekend.

Contact Danny at Precision Plex and he can assist you in recalibrating the temperature sensors. The little black sensors located below the thermostats. you will also need a good thermometer to get accurate temperature readings at each thermostat.

Here is the procedure to adjust the temperature sensors in the coach.
1- Go to the Home Screen.
2- Press the gear in the upper left corner.
3- Press the setting bar on the top of the screen.
4- Press diagnostics on the top of the screen.
5- Press temperature offset.
6- Locate the appropriate zone and adjust uo or down according to your actual
temperature readings.
7- When completed hit the home icon 4-5 times to exit.

Have you tried reaching out to Precision for customer support? I ask because my follow up question would be what your experience was? Honest feed back always helps us improve the product.

Yes I have, 3 times, first time looking for a wire repair kit of some kind- was referred to a specific person at precision but he was clueless as to why I was given his name and # from Mitch at FR, then I’ve called back 2 more times in regards to the screen and temp issues. Basically no help / info from them, other than what an update will do for me if I send them the panel which will not address the issues I’ve called them about. I’ve gotten more info here than from precision plex, I also called my Berk rep who was super helpful this past weekend and responded instantly at 9:30pm Thursday night. And then called me! Superb Berk rep!

I've always said that the TEMP that any thermostat 'shows' is irrelative to how I 'feel' ... meaning that regardless of whether the temperature shows 82, if that is comfortable to me, then the heck with everyone else saying that you should set your thermostat to 75 to be comfortable. On the other hand, if the thermostat says 75, yet you are still not quite 'comfortable, you might need it to be 72, etc.
As long as you are comfortable, what the thermostat 'says' is irrelative.

If the front a/c unit is comfortable at 75, leave it there. If the rear a/c unit is comfortable at 82, leave it there, too. The 'two' units don't have to be synced.

I have never had any issues with Precision Industries. Danny has either answered the phone or called me back and solved my issues. He has always been helpful.

You asked for honest feedback. I also don’t have any issues with Danny, I just didn’t get the help I needed.

All I can say is that the program might be different between your 39A and my 45A. Sorry I couldn’t help. Try to get ahold of Danny like Eric said.

Where do you read the sensor temperature located in the bathroom next to the toilet?

Here is a pick of the Thermostat, if you tell me the floorplan I can get a location for the rear where it is at.

Mystery sensor

We own a 2020 XL 40E.
The fourth sensor is located on the wall in the rear bathroom. Where’s the indicator?
