so the pump cycles on a pressure switch- usually part of the pump. But if I gave air in my system it takes a long time to shut off, so make sure plenty of water in tank and purge ( run ) all faucets till solid water. If that fails to fix it you may need a new pressure switch/pump.
When I turn on my water pump, it won’t shut off, will pull a
Pressure, just won’t shut off when pressurized . Just runs continuously until I manually turn it off.
NO WATER leaks. Bad pump ? Ideas 🧐
I have this exact same problem but ONLY after I am traveling. If the pump switch is turned on while moving it won't shut off. What I do that fixes it temporarily is open the valve that drains the manifold lines for 2 - 3 secs while the pump is on and that gets the pump primed again and it shuts off. It then operates normally while not moving if I am not connected to CG water. This happened after the dealer replaced the original pump under warranty. Now I just try to make sure the pump switch is off while on the road.
