2018 Berkshire LCD screen rr cam

Hi. Picked up our 2018 Berk 39a. I like to drive with the rear camera always on. It let's me glance at my car on a trailer back there. Well, on my new rig the screen goes black after like 15 sec. If I touch it, it wakes up but then times out to black again shortly after. I went into the Magnadyne radio settings and cannot find a way to keep the camera always on and on the rear. Is it possible? Please help me if you can. I am very sad that I could not find a way. My old 2003 Georgie Boy Diesel I could have the rear camera always on, it never shut off

Thank you in advance if anybody can help me.

Yes it is possible as I had my 2018 34qs set up this way. It is somwhere in the settings. I have also disabled the side cameras as it is distracting when trying to follow the GPS, I prefer to look at the GPS while waiting to turn and the side view camera would take over. There is a swipe feature that you can set to different functions to get back the GPS without scrolling through menus. There is also the ability to change the color themes, if you leave the standard lighter colors for maps, the glair at night is too much so see the road without dimming the full display.

More for constant viewing the backup camera. As I said you can set up swip to change from say rear camera back to GPS. This is still a driving distraction and gives the slight chance the toad will spontaneously burst into flames while you are briefly looking at the GPS. There is a separate dash top display that I bought. Unplugged the rear camera and plugged in the new camera, them wire in the 12 volt. I then disabled the rear camera in the Magnadyne settings, now I have full time rear camera and full time GPS view. All done without drilling a single hole in the dash. The rear monitor doesn't move as I used Gorilla glue to the underside of the dash access panel and glued a rair earth magnet I also cut another magnet into the bottom padding on the display, works great.
