360 bh roof type ... install of rubber roof

We have recently purchased a 2012 390bh. Although I have not yet gone up on the roof, my understanding is that it is a fiberglass roof. My understanding is that over time, a fiberglass roof can deteriorate and leak. Is this true? Would it be worth while to install a one piece rubber membrane roof? If so ... has anyone done the installation themselves.

Actually most manufacturers have gone away from the rubber roofs and gone to the fiberglass roofs. The fiberglass holds up better than the rubber and you don't get the massive ugly black streaks with the fiberglass that you get with the rubber roof. Generally the major problems that I have seen with the fiberglass roofs is that you can get cracking in the roof. That seems to be very prevelant in a certain higher end rig made in Alabama. I have not heard of anyone having that type of problem with a Berkshire.
