390 BH won't cool

I have a 2012 Berkshire with the factory installed Dometic AC units on the roof. My coach has never seemed to cool properly. Has anyone had similar experiences. The coach with not cool at 88 degrees outside temp., it does not touch the heat at the river..

yes, even with the 15,000btu unit up front, people are reporting that the super large windshield still needs to be insulated to get the coach cooled. without some type of insulation on that windshield, forgetaboutit...

The issue is enough that I am considering changing out my A/C units to 2 15,000 BTU units, but so far I haven't made that move.

I felt mine would not cool properly either. The windshield is like a big greenhouse, so I went to Home Depot and bought a roll of foil insulation and Velcro. I placed Velcro strips along the top of the inside of the windshield and cut a piece of insulation to fit. It worked out well because the roll is 4 feet wide and I didn't need to trim that.

Here is the inside look. I cut one for the driver's side window also. If you don't like the looks of it, you can close either the night shade or day shade and it covers it up nicely.
