390RB Dinette removal

Any body with a 390rb removed their dinette? If so how did you get it out?

I've managed to disassemble it into 3 major pieces. The center piece went out the entry door but the ends won't or at least I haven't been able to get them out.

Either need to remove a window (drivers) or the entry door

Help!

Thanks but no. The limitation is the width of the entry door frame.

Worked a deal with upholstery guy and he's going to fabricate the covers after I remove them. I'll then install on the end pieces in the motorhome.

I'm going with ultra leather and hopefully it's much more durable than what Forest River put on the upholstery

Oh, so you're not replacing the dinette just having it recovered?

I'm writing Forest River about the dinette upholstery on my 2014 390RB. The couch looks great, the dinette material is literally disintegrating. I store in an enclosed garage so this is not a UV issue. We're going to do a couple makeshift slipcovers for this trip but I'm going to have to redo mine as well. If you have any photos that might guide a person through some of the disassembly you've done I'd be appreciative. I can send you an email address.

I do have some photos both most are intended to guide me during the recovering process.

In order to disassemble you first remove the drawers and there are two bolts under each end that secure the unit to the floor. Are these are remove the entire unit can be removed from the slide out. The ends are fastened to the middle section with 3 or 4 1-1/2 screws. Once these are removed the dinette will separate into three pieces.

As I may have already indicated the center will pass thru the entry door. I've worked it out with my upholstery guy that he will fabricate the end covers after I remove the original covers and I will install. This keeps me from having to remove a window or door to get them out.

Have yet to get the new covers so I will let you know how it goes.

The upholstery is perhaps my only disappointment with the coach.
