YEA!!!!!

ALSO....

Decided to replace our refrigerator with a new one while in shop and they could get one for a good price....

It’s been acting up and I don’t want to get stuck in the boonies with it broken down.....

New unit will be delivered in the AM and hopefully they’ll be able to get it it....

Glad your over heating problem is resolved-

Just curious, does the refrigerator fit through the door or do they remove the windshield?

At shop now... They removed the dinette slide window....

Already have it installed and it’s cooling down..... unit is a tad larger in cu ft but still fit into old opening.....

Can u believe this - doesn’t come with door panel inserts AND no one has them in stock.....

What a crock..... Pay over $2K for unit and STILL have to buy door inserts!!!!!

I may buy some Black plexiglass and cut my own....

We made it to Green River, WY after climbing numerous “hills” on I-80E without a single overheating issue - in fact I actually had the temp drop as I was climbing....

YEAH BUDDY!!!!

New fridge is also performing perfectly as well....

Maybe we can now actually get back to having a good time.....

Changed direction somewhat ....

Currently in Green River, WY for a few nites.... Coach performed perfectly as it climbed numerous “hills” when we headed E on I-80 out of Salt Lake....

Physically and mentally worn out from the last couple of weeks dealing with all this “stuff”

Plus - need to straighten inside of coach after having techs in it for last week or so....

From here we will be headed towards Laramie, WY

I’ve discovered a new app called Hipcamp and it’s REALLY cool... Check it out.....

Most all camp sites are very unusual - we will be spending 4 nites on a 500 acre working ranch in southern Wyoming...

We then will head S to Colorado Springs followed by a few nites at Trinidad SP.....

Just a heads up we found the lowest price on diesel during our trip was in Laramie, only $1.79 and of course our truck was over 50 miles away in Cheyenne at the time. Glad to hear your issues have been solved now you can get back to enjoying your trip.

We are all set up in our first Hipcamp site.....

As the picture shows, it’s a beautiful spot on a 1,000 acre ranch... It’s located south of Laramie on Hwy287 about 1 mile from the CO border.....

We love everything about it BUT access to our spot..... It was an absolute nightmare drive once we arrived and they escorted us about 1.5 miles into the ranch.....

Once we arrived at our site, I could see Hwy 287 down the hill and I told them they’d have to come up with a way to get me to that highway WITHOUT having to go back the way we just came in!!!

I refused to put my coach through that crap again!!!! I wasn’t a happy camper for sure.... I angrily told them that should mention in their blurb that they’re not really big-rig friendly...

They’ve assured me that when I’m ready to leave Tuesday AM, they’d take me out thru their sawmill which is would be 100% better....

They actually need to bring big-rigs in from a different direction because I AIN’T NEVER COMING BACK if they don’t !!!!

Ya know, and this is just thinking out loud, but: you really shouldn’t have somehow volunteered to be the guy who has to try out EVERY adventure in the book. Just sayin’.

Igave....

LOL!!!

Sometimes ideas seem to be the thing to do “at that moment”!!!!

Don’t get me wrong - this is a great place (only been in operation for 6 weeks) They obviously are in the early developmental stages and I believe it’s going to be absolutely outstanding...

They just haven’t been around RVing long enough to understand the do’s/don’t’s it... I.e. - don’t put class A coaches thru what I did....

From just looking around it’s easy for me to see that it would be the “thing to do” to bring in large coaches/trailers from the highway near me... Then they wouldn’t have to put their rigs thru what I did...

This is the place to be to actually see the Milky Way again!!!!

Got up this AM and decided to check the “other way out” out myself...

Hopped in my SUV and drove it all the way to the highway - about 1/4 of a mile...

With only a few “spots” to deal with it’s definitely the way out!!!!

Got back to the coach and we decided to roll out today....

Called the owner Robert and asked him to lead us out in about an hour...

I’m happy to report that we are currently set up at the Laramie Fairgrounds.....

Wife’s happy because she’s got a hair appointment tomorrow afternoon.....

We leave headed to Colorado Springs Tuesday AM.....
